Root Canals
When the nerve inside a tooth becomes infected, root canal treatment can save your tooth and relieve pain. During this procedure, we gently remove the infected tissue, clean the inside of the tooth, and seal it to prevent further problems. Thanks to modern techniques and anesthetics, root canals are comfortable and effective, allowing you to keep your natural tooth instead of losing it. Typically, after a root canal, a permanent filling or crown is needed. For more complex root canal cases, we may need to refer you to an endodontist and then finish the permanent restoration at our office.
